Privacy Policy

We promise “no black boxes” in our marketing — same goes for our legal pages. Every section below starts with a plain-English summary.

1. Who we are

The short version: the company behind this website is MAD1SON FOUNDRY. Write to info@mad1sonfoundry.com for anything privacy-related.

MAD1SON FOUNDRY operates from offices at 600 West Broadway, Suite 700, San Diego, CA 92101 and 521 5th Avenue, 17th Floor, New York, NY 10175. Full legal entity details are provided in every signed engagement agreement. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@mad1sonfoundry.com.

2. What we collect

The short version: what you type into our forms or booking calendar, standard analytics about site visits, and — for clients only — the login and performance data that powers your client dashboard.

Information you give us. When you book a call through Calendly, request an audit, or contact us, we receive what you provide: typically your name, email address, company, website, and what you tell us about your goals.

Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and how you found us. Our hosting and caching layer (LiteSpeed) may set functional cookies that make the site load faster. We do not run third-party advertising pixels on this site — our tag container carries Google measurement tags only.

Client portal. Clients access performance dashboards at foundryos.mad1sonfoundry.com. The portal uses login credentials and session cookies, and displays performance data pulled from the client’s own Google properties (such as Google Analytics and Search Console) through read-only service-account access that the client grants and can revoke at any time.

3. How we use it

The short version: to respond to you, deliver the services you hired us for, and understand what content works. We don’t sell personal information. Ever.

We use the information described above to respond to inquiries, schedule and prepare for calls, deliver contracted services and reporting, measure and improve our website and content, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use client performance data for anything other than that client’s own engagement.

4. Cookies & analytics choices

The short version: analytics cookies measure visits; you can block them and the site still works.

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across the web with Google’s browser add-on. Blocking these cookies does not affect your ability to use this site.

5. Who else touches your data

The short version: the vendors that run our infrastructure — Google for analytics, Calendly for scheduling, our hosting provider — each under their own privacy policies.

We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf: Google (Analytics 4 and Tag Manager), Calendly (call scheduling — information you enter when booking is processed by Calendly), and our hosting provider (site hosting and caching). We may also disclose information when the law requires it. We do not share client performance data with anyone.

6. Client data in Foundry OS

The short version: your marketing data stays yours. Our access is read-only, granted by you, revocable by you, and used only for your reporting.

Client engagements involve access to the client’s own marketing and analytics accounts. That access is scoped to the minimum needed, is read-only wherever possible, and can be revoked by the client at any time from their own account settings. Performance data is used solely to deliver that client’s services and reporting, is never combined across clients, and is handed over or disconnected at the end of the engagement.

7. Retention

The short version: we keep things as long as they’re useful for the purpose you gave them to us, then they go.

Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics’ standard controls. Lead and correspondence data is kept while it remains relevant to a current or prospective relationship. Client engagement data follows the engagement: reporting history belongs to the client, and our access ends when the engagement does.

8. Your rights

The short version: ask us what we have about you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it — one email.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email info@mad1sonfoundry.com — we respond to every verified request, whatever your jurisdiction.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses. This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes & governing law

We may update this policy as our services or the law change; the effective date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted on this page.
